evchargerinstallation.ie prices home EV charger installations in Ireland, prepares the SEAI grant paperwork, and introduces homeowners to a Safe Electric registered electrical contractor covering their county.

How we are paid

You pay us nothing. If you go ahead with the contractor we introduce you to, that contractor pays us a fee. That is the whole model, and it is worth knowing up front because it is the reason we would rather tell you the grant does not apply to your property than waste your time — an apartment without off-street parking is not eligible, and we say so on the spot.

Where the figures come from

Every number on the county and town pages traces to a primary source: CSO series TEM27, PCIEV03 and DOTM08 for vehicle and registration figures, Census 2022 for population and housing mix, ESB ecars for public charge point counts, and a Dáil written answer of 15 October 2025 for SEAI grants paid by county. Nothing is estimated or interpolated.

The one rule that costs people the grant

SEAI will not pay if work starts before the start date on your Letter of Offer. There is no appeal. It is the most common way people lose €300, and it is why our grant check asks about your paperwork before anything else.
